Allergy and Anaphylaxis Guidelines for Schools and Kura 2025
These guidelines have been developed specifically to support School leadership, management, and teachers throughout New Zealand. They are intended to promote safe and inclusive school environments for all students. They have been peer reviewed by healthcare professionals on our Allergy NZ Medical Panel and align with the current evidence-based allergy management advice as at their time of publishing.
We are particularly grateful for the generous support of the McDowell Family, which will enable us to promote and share these guidelines in campuses throughout the country and particularly those schools with higher populations of at-risk students.
We would also like to acknowledge the support of Viatris for their contribution towards the development of these Guidelines.
These practical School/Kura Allergy Guidelines are freely available to download and print. They are not intended as clinical or medical guidelines for allergy.
Please always consult your local GP or Nurse Practitioner in the first instance, if you have allergy concerns or symptoms.
