13 August 2009: Sovereign Sunshine presented a very generous cheque of $15,335 to Allergy New Zealand. The organisation's ambassador, Peter Charles Leitch (aka The Mad Butcher), accepted the cheque along with chief executive Penny Jorgensen. The donation will be used to upgrade Allergy New Zealand's phone system so its 0800 34 0800 line can be brought in house and answered. At the moment, it is a voice mail service which is cleared daily. Allergy New Zealand once again extends its heartfelt thanks to Sovereign Sunshine and to all of you who voted for us.
