Blue River Dairy is initiating a recall of their Milk Maid’s Vanilla Sheep Milk Ice-cream after discovering that the product had been incorrectly labelled. The label states that the product is Allergy Tolerant, Lactose & Dairy Friendly. This could be interpreted as meaning the product is lactose and dairy free which it is not.

Consumers who are allergic to Blue River Sheep’s Milk Ice-cream are advised not to consume this product. Any person concerned about their health should seek medical advice.

Waikato Valley Chocolate Ltd are recalling one batch of Waikato Valley ‘Forest Fruit’ 200g chocolate bars after discovering the product contains almonds which is not labelled as required.

Comments:

Consumers who are allergic to almonds are advised not to consume this product. Any person concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
If customers have purchased the ‘Forest Fruit’ flavour of chocolate between 26th June 2012 -12th July 2012 with a best before date of 18.12.13, should return it to any The Warehouse store for a full refund. Customers may phone The Warehouse on 0800 422 274 with any queries.

The product contains Royal Jelly. A warning statement alerting people who are allergic to Royal Jelly or who have asthma, to the potential for a severe allergic reaction if they consume this product, is not present on the external packaging label.
Consumers who are allergic to Royal Jelly or who have asthma are advised not to consume this product due to the absence of a sufficient required warning statement on the outer packaging of this 2-pack/sports drink special offer.

Weka Apple Cider and Weka Pear Cider should not be consumed by people allergic to sulphites. There have been no reports of illness, however any person concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
